What is CRM of Choice?
CRM of Choice is a new feature within the eXp Realty tech stack that allows agents to choose from three powerful CRM solutions: BoldTrail (formerly kvCORE), Lofty (formerly Chime), and Cloze.
How do I select a CRM?
Log into your eXp Okta dashboard. From there, you’ll see the CRM options and can choose the one you want to activate. If you are an existing kvCORE user, you will be automatically switched to BoldTrail. If you are switching from BoldTrail/kvCORE to another CRM, you'll be able to switch CRM’s in the eXp Okta Dashboard on or about July 1, 2025. Please be sure to download all relevant data from your prior CRM to upload to your new one.
What happens if I don’t make a selection?
1. If you have never logged into an eXp CRM, nothing changes. You will not be assigned a CRM until you opt in.
2. If you are an existing “inactive” kvCORE user, you will automatically be deactivated and you will be eligible to participate in CRM of Choice. You may select any of the options, but you will not be assigned a CRM until you opt in.
3. If you are an existing “active” kvCORE user, you will be automatically switched to BoldTrail. We kindly request that you confirm your choice to remain in BoldTrail within the first 90 days of CRM of Choice launch (on or before September 30, 2025). After October 1, 2025, if you have migrated to BoldTrail and you decide not to select another option, you will be deemed to have opted in to BoldTrail for the remaining 12 month cycle.
Can I switch at any time?
No. Once you select and “opt-in” to a CRM, you are committed for 12 months. Exceptions to the rule apply if you are joining a team using a different CRM or leaving a team and desire to switch CRM. You may make this switch one time per 12 month cycle. You may switch CRM’s at the time of CRM renewal. Please see eXpert Care for guidance.
What happens if I’m using kvCORE now?
You’ll automatically be migrated to BoldTrail and retain your access. We kindly request that you confirm your choice to remain in BoldTrail within the first 90 days of CRM of Choice launch (on or before September 30, 2025).
Can I switch between CRMs at the time I opt in or renewal?
Yes. You may select a new CRM, switch CRM’s, opt-out of a CRM, or renew your CRM selection during the opt-in and renewal period.
Can I switch CRMs after I have opted in?
No. Once you select a CRM, you are committed for 12 months. Exceptions to the rule apply if you are joining a team using a different CRM or leaving a team and desire to switch CRM.
Will I receive training?
Yes! Each CRM vendor will offer live and on-demand training twice each week for the first 100 days.
Who do I contact for help?
Our eXpert Care team is fully trained and ready to support you, along with the CRM vendors' support teams.
Where can I find tutorials or help docs?
All training materials will be accessible via your CRM of Choice toolkit and the eXp University portal.
Do I have to pay extra for a CRM?
No. CRM access is included in your eXp Monthly tech fee (US - $85/mo & CAD $139/mo). eXp only pays CRM vendors based on actual agent opt-in. The exception is for upgraded accounts, please see the CRM Vendor for a list of add-on products.
Will CRMs integrate with Skyslope, Slack, Canva, or Sisu?
Varies. Integration setup is underway for each platform where available. A full list will be published once finalized.
Will other integrations vary by CRM?
Some integrations may differ. We'll provide side-by-side feature guides as part of the CRM selection portal.
Will I lose my contacts or data from kvCORE?
No. Your data will remain intact as part of the migration to BoldTrail.
What’s the difference between kvCORE and BoldTrail?
BoldTrail is a rebuilt platform designed with agent feedback in mind. It's more intuitive, modern, and performance-focused.
