Only the Broker can terminate listings. To cancel a listing, the easiest process is to follow these steps:
DELETE ALL LISTING PHOTOS FROM MLS except for the front of the house photo from the listing. (This is a pro-tip to make sure no one else can use your photos!)
In MLS, set the property status to HOLD (formerly known as Temporarily Off Market)
Get a Listing Agreement Amendment signed to terminate the listing. Be sure you have a complete Skyslope file as well for the listing.
Last step, update the Skyslope transaction status to reflect that it has been Withdrawn.
The eXp Texas Brokers will terminate the listing in MLS.
If you need it canceled in a rush, please email tx.membership@exprealty.com after you have done the Skyslope withdrawal.
Sometimes, deals fall through. Buyers back out. When this happens, you’re going to want to cancel your Transaction. The guide below will show you how to cancel your SkySlope transaction.
Learn How to Cancel a Transaction
If you’ve created a Listing within SkySlope that didn’t sell and your sellers didn’t renew the Listing Agreement, most likely you will need to withdraw your Listing. When you withdraw your Listing, it will be moved to a “cancelled pending approval” status, which means you’re waiting for an admin to approve the cancellation and move it into the Cancelled Contracts section of SkySlope. This guide will show you how to withdraw your Listing.
